예수님—참 하나님이시자 영원한 생명
JESUS—THE TRUE GOD AND ETERNAL LIFE
영생은 이것이니 곧 그들이 유일하신 참 하나님인 아버지와 아버지께서 보내신 자 예수 그리스도를 아는 것이니이다 (요한복음 17:3).
우리가 예수 그리스도의 탄생을 축하할 때, 우리가 영원한 생명의 완전한 중요성과 의미를 이해하는 것이 중요합니다. 예수님께서 이 생명을 가져오셨다는 사실은 우리가 그것이 뜻하는 바를 아는 것을 절대적으로 반드시 해야 하는 것으로 만듭니다. 그러면 영원한 생명은 무엇입니까?
그것이 뜻하는 바를 이해하려면, 당신은 먼저 성경기록이 하나님에 관하여, 예수 그리스도의 신성, 우상 숭배와, 생명 그 자체에 관하여 말씀하시는 바를 먼저 이해해야만 합니다. 많은 사람들은 단지 하나님의 생명과 본성이 되는 영원한 생명만을 알았습니다. 그러나 내가 당신에게 그것을 명확하게 하는 정의를 보여줄 것입니다. 영원한 생명은 신성의 유기체적이고 실존적인 특성입니다.
그러한 몇 단어들로, 당신은 특징적인 요소들—우리 하나님과 신들이라 불릴 수도 있는 모든 다른 것들을 분리하는 모든 것—을 가집니다. 이러한 속성들은 유기체적이어야 합니다, 그리고 그것들은 반드시 실존적이어야 합니다. 그리고 당신은 그것을 오직 예수 그리스도 안에서 표현된 대로 아브라함, 이삭과, 야곱의 하나님 안에서 발견할 수 있습니다.

어떤 사람들은 그분이 존재하지 않으신다고 논쟁할지도 모릅니다, 그러나 그분은 예수 그리스도로 우리에게 오셨습니다. 성경은 말씀합니다, “말씀이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하시매, 우리가 그분의 영광을 보니, 아버지의 독생하신 분의 영광이요, 은혜와 진리가 충만하더라” (요한복음 1:14 새 킹 제임스 역본 NKJV).
예수님께서는 그분 자체로, 하나님이십니다. 할렐루야! 그리고 그분은 영원한 생명이십니다, “또 하나님의 아들이 오셔서 우리에게 깨달음을 주사 우리가 진실하신 분을 알게 하셨음을 우리가 알며 또 우리가 진실하신 분 곧 그분의 아들 예수 그리스도 안에 있음을 아노니 이분은 참 하나님이시요 영원한 생명이시니라” (요한일서 5:20). 요한일서 1:2, “그 생명이 나타나시매 우리가 그것을 보았고 또 아버지와 함께 계시다가 우리에게 나타나신 그 영원한 생명을 증언하며 너희에게 보이노라.”
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 내 영에 당신의 인격의 계시로 인해 감사드립니다. 나는 당신의 한이 없는 사랑에 의해 압도됩니다. 당신의 생명에 참여한 자인 특권과 축복으로 인해 감사드리고, 땅에서 당신의 찬양을 나타내 보이고 당신의 의를 표현합니다, 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

JESUS—THE TRUE GOD AND ETERNAL LIFE
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent (John 17:3).
As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, it’s important for us to grasp the full import and meaning of eternal life. The fact that Jesus brought this life makes it absolutely imperative that we know what it means. What then is eternal life?
To understand what it means, you’d have to first understand what the Scripture says about God, about the divinity of Jesus Christ, idolatry, and life itself. Many have only known eternal life to be the life and nature of God. But I’ll give you a definition that clarifies it. Eternal life is the organic and existential attributes of deity.
In those few words, you have the distinguishing factors—everything that separates our God from all others that may be called gods. These attributes must be organic, and they must be existential. And you can only find that in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as expressed in Jesus Christ.
That is what makes it beautiful because we don’t see Him, yet we can call Him God. But who is He when you don't see Him? That is why many have represented God with whatever they think He is—stones, wood, or some materials and shape—but our God is real and true.
Some people may argue that He doesn't exist, but He came to us in Jesus Christ. The Bible says, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14 NKJV).
Jesus is Himself, God. Hallelujah! And He is eternal life: “And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life" (1 John 5:20). 1 John 1:2: “For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us.”
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the revelation of your personality to my spirit. I’m overwhelmed by your boundless love. I thank you for the privilege and blessing to be a partaker of your life, and show forth your praises and express your righteousness in the earth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
