타의 추종을 불허하는 그분의 이름에 있는 권위
UNRIVALLED AUTHORITY IN HIS NAME
예수님께서 그들에게 오셔서 말씀하여 이르시되, 하늘과 땅에 있는 모든 권능이 내게 주어졌느니라 (마태복음 28:18).
어떤 사람들은 특정한 장소들, 아마도 어떤 나라, 도시, 거리 등에서 권위를 가지는 것에 관하여 자랑합니다. 어떤 사람들은, 학급에서조차, 그들은 괴롭히는 사람들이 되고 그들의 학급 친구들을 공포에 떨게 하는 그런 사람들입니다. 그러나 우주를 초월하고 하늘, 땅, 땅 아래 있는 모두에게 미치는 권위를 가진 분이 계십니다. 그분의 이름은 예수입니다! 하나님을 송축합니다!
성경은 아무도 그리고 어느 것도 그분의 다스림, 그분의 지배와 권위로부터 면제되지 않는다고 말씀합니다. 에베소서 1:20-22 메시지 성경 MSG은 그분이 행사하시는 타의 추종을 불허하고 비할 데 없는 권위를 더욱 밝혀 줍니다. 그 구절은 말씀합니다, “...하나님은 그분을 죽음에서 살리시고 하늘의 보좌에 앉히셔서, 은하계로부터 이 땅의 통치에 이르기까지 우주의 모든 것을 다스리게 하셨습니다. 그분의 통치를 받지 않는 이름이나 권세가 하나도 없게 하셨습니다. 잠시만이 아니라 영원토록 그렇게 하셨습니다. 이 모든 일을 담당하고 계신 분, 모든 일의 최종 결정권을 가지고 계신 분은 그리스도이십니다....”
이것의 가장 신나는 부분은 그분의 권위가 우리에게 주어진다는 사실입니다 왜냐하면 우리는 그분과 하나이기 때문입니다. 우리는 그분의 씨이고 우리는 그분의 날들을 연장시킵니다. 그분은 우리를 통해 다스리십니다. 이사야 9:6은, “...그의 어깨에는 정권이 놓이고...” 라고 말씀합니다. 그분의 어깨는 교회—우리—를 가리킵니다, 우리는 그분이 오늘날 그 안에서 또 그것을 통해 말씀하시고 행동하시는 그분의 몸입니다.

당신은 마귀들을 내쫓으라고 또 환경들을 길들이라고 예수님의 이름에 있는 타의 추종을 불허하는 권위를 가집니다. 당신이 할 수 없는 것은 없습니다, 그리고 당신이 바꿀 수 없는 절망적인 상황은 없습니다. 당신은 그분의 이름으로 모든 것들을 할 수 있습니다. 할렐루야!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 마귀들에 대한 권위를 행사하도록, 모든 민족들을 가르치도록 그리고 어두움의 영역들로부터 빛의 왕국으로 많은 사람들을 쏘아 올리도록, 주 예수님께서 교회에게 주신 타의 추종을 불허하는 권위와 권능에 감사드립니다. 우리가 그리스도 안에서 가진 승리로 인해 감사드립니다, 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

UNRIVALLED AUTHORITY IN HIS NAME
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth (Matthew 28:18).
Some people brag about having authority in specific places, perhaps in a nation, city, street etc. For some, it’s even in classrooms, such that they become bullies and terrorize their classmates. But there’s one whose authority transcends the universe and extends to all of heaven, the earth, and under the earth. His Name is Jesus! Blessed be God!
The Bible says no one and nothing is exempted from His rule, His dominion and authority. Ephesians 1:20-22 MSG sheds more light on the unrivalled and unparalleled authority that He wields. It says, “...God raised him from death and set him on a throne in deep heaven, in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but forever. He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything….”
The most exhilarating part of this is the fact that His authority is given to us because we’re one with Him. We’re His seed and we prolong His days. He rules through us. Isaiah 9:6 says, “…and the government shall be upon his shoulder….” His shoulder refers to the Church— us; we’re His body in and through which He speaks and acts today.
This should help you understand why soon after He affirmed in Matthew 28:18 that all authority is His both in heaven and in earth, He immediately charged us in the ensuing verse 19 to go and teach all nations. That’s extraordinary, because it means we sit on His seat. We function by His authority.
It’s the reason we can do the same works that He did. He gave us power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases (Luke 9:1). Read what the Bible says in Mark 16:17 NKJV: “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons....”
You have unrivalled authority in the Name of Jesus to cast out devils and tame circumstances. There’s nothing you can’t do, and there’s no hopeless situation you can’t change. You can do all things in His Name. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the unparalleled authority and power that the Lord Jesus has given to the Church, to exercise authority over devils, teach all nations and catapult many from the domains of darkness into the Kingdom of light. Thank you for the victory we have in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
