말씀은 당신이 “행하도록” 몰아갑니다
THE WORD PROPELS YOU TO “DO”
너희 안에서 일하사 자기가 참으로 기뻐하는 것을 원하게도 하시고 행하게도 하시는 분은 하나님이시니라 (빌립보서 2:13).
하나님의 말씀은 추진력입니다, 그것은 나아가게 하는 힘입니다. 그것은 당신에게 영적 동기를 주고, 당신이 행할 수 있게 합니다. 말씀은 당신 안에서 효과적으로 역사하며, 당신 안에서 당신의 꿈을 현실로 만드는 능력과 열망에 힘을 주고 그것들을 창조합니다.
성공은 “행함”에서 옵니다, 즉, 단지 보는 것이 아니라, 행하는 것입니다. 사람들이 결코 조치를 취하지 않았기 때문에 결코 알려지지 못한 —사업, 정치, 사역 등에서—위대한 착안들을 가진 많은 사람들이 있습니다. 그들이 말씀을 묵상했었더라면 좋았을 것입니다.
여호수아 1:8 확대 역본 AMPC는 말씀합니다, “이 율법책을 네 입에서 멀리 하지 말라, 오직 너는 그것을 밤낮으로 묵상할지라, 그것이 네가 그것 안에 기록된 모든 것을 준수하게 하고 그에 따라 행하게 하리라. 그러면 네가 너의 길을 형통하게 할 것이고, 그러면 네가 지혜롭게 처리할 것이고 좋은 성공을 할 것이기 때문이라.” 그 구절이, “...오직 너는 그 안에 있는 것을 밤낮으로 묵상할지라 그리고 또한 준수하여 행하라...” 고 말씀하지 않았음에, 또한 그것은, “그것을 묵상하고 그것을 행하라” 고 말씀하지도 않았음에 주목하십시오, 아닙니다! 오히려, 그것은 만약 당신이 말씀을 진정으로 묵상한다면, 당신이 그것을 행하지 않을 수 없다고 말씀합니다. 그 “행함”은 당신이 말씀을 묵상한 것의 결과 혹은 영향입니다.
골로새서 3:16은 하나님의 말씀으로 하여금 당신 안에 풍성히 거하게 하라고, 말씀이 당신 안에 행하는 것으로 인해 당신의 영에 풍성하게 그것을 가지라고, 말씀합니다. 예를 들어 당신이 교회에 있을 때, 그리고 말씀이 가르쳐지고 있을 때, 그러한 시간들에 나오는 말씀의 사역이 있습니다, 당신의 영은 하나님의 영으로부터 당신에게 오는 촉진들, 착안들과 비전들을 따라 행하도록 세워지고 있고, 강해지고 있으며 휘저어지고 있습니다. 할렐루야!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 영적인 신비들과 비밀들에 대한 통찰력을 나에게 주셔서 그리고 당신의 뜻을 행하는 열정을 내 안에 심어 주셔서 감사드립니다. 그리스도 안에서 나의 운명을 성취함에 있어 성공과 위대함의 행로를 행하고 그 안에서 걷도록 나는 당신의 말씀에 의해 나아가며, 휘저어지고 동기 부여됩니다. 할렐루야!

THE WORD PROPELS YOU TO “DO”
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure (Philippians 2:13).
The Word of God is a propelling force; it’s a propelling power. It gives you the spiritual motivation, and enables you to do. The Word effectually works in you, energizing and creating in you the power and desire to actualize your dream.
Success comes from “doing,” that is, acting, not from seeing only. There’re many with great ideas—in business, politics, ministry, etc.,—that never came to light because they never took action. If only they’d meditate on the Word.
Joshua 1:8 AMPC says, “This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.” Notice it didn’t say: “...but thou shall meditate therein day and night and also observe to do…”; neither did it say, “Meditate on it and do it”; no! Rather, it says if you’d truly meditate on the Word, you cannot but do it. The “doing” is a result or implication of you meditating on the Word.
Colossians 3:16 says to let the Word of God dwell in you richly; have it in your spirit in abundance because of what it does in you. When you’re in church for example, and the Word is being taught, there’s a ministry of the Word going on at such times; your spirit is being built, strengthened and stirred to act on the promptings, ideas and visions that come to you from God’s Spirit. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for granting me insight into spiritual mysteries and secrets and implanting in me the passion to do your will. I’m propelled by your Word, stirred and motivated to act and walk in the path of success and greatness in fulfilling my destiny in Christ. Hallelujah!
