온 세상을 위한 메시지
A MESSAGE FOR THE WHOLE WORLD
이는 그리스도의 사랑이 우리를 강권하기 때문이라. 우리가 이같이 판단하노니 곧 한 사람이 모든 사람을 위하여 죽었으면 모든 사람이 죽었느니라. 그분께서 모든 사람을 위하여 죽으신 것은 살아 있는 자들이 이제부터는 자기들을 위하여 살지 아니하고 오직 자기들을 위하여 죽었다가 다시 일어나신 분을 위하여 살게 하려 함이니라 (고린도후서 5:14-15).
당신은 하나님께서 사람들의 죄들을 그들에게 불리한 것으로 여기지 않고 계시다는 것을 알았습니까? 그분은 그러지 않으십니다 왜냐하면 예수님께서 각자 모두를 위해 이미 죽으셨기 때문입니다. “저는 그분이 그리스도인들을 위해 죽으셨다고 생각했습니다,” 라고 어떤 사람은 말할지도 모릅니다. 아닙니다, 그것은 온 세상을 위한 것이었습니다! 고린도후서 5:19 새 국제 역본 NIV은 말씀합니다, “하나님께서 그리스도 안에서 세상을 그분 자신과 화해하게 하고 계셨고, 사람들의 죄들을 그들에게 불리하게 간주하지 않고 계셨느니라. 그리고 그분은 화해의 메시지를 우리에게 맡기셨느니라.”
그것이 하나님께서 그리스도 안에 계시며, 세상을 그분 자신과 화해하고 계셨다고 말씀하는 것을 보십시오. 왜 일까요? 그것은 예수님께서 모든 사람을 위해 값을 치르셨기 때문입니다. 예수님께서 죽으셨을 때, 우리 각자는 그분 안에서 죽었습니다, 공의의 마음에서, 우리는 그분의 죽으심에 있어 그분 안에 있었습니다. 하나님께서 그분을 일으키셨을 때, 온 세상에 영원한 생명—의의 생명—을 받을 기회가 주어졌습니다.
이것이 우리의 메시지가 온 세상을 향한 그분의 복음인 이유입니다. 우리의 임무는 예수님께서 온 세상의 구원을 위해 값을 치르셨다는 것을 그들에게 전하는 것입니다, 그러므로 그들은 더 이상 죽거나 심판 받을 필요가 없습니다. 예수님께서 온 세상을 위해 심판 받으셨습니다.
아직 구원받지 않은 오늘날 온 세상에 있는 모든 사람을 위해, 영원한 생명이 지금 이용 가능합니다. 그들이 해야 할 전부는 그분의 구원의 대리 행위 속에 죽은 자들로부터 예수 그리스도의 부활하심을 믿고, 그들의 생명에 대한 예수님의 주되심을 고백하는 것입니다, 그러면 그들은 살아 계신 그리스도와의 생명에 관한 깨달음, 경험과 연합으로 옮겨질 것입니다. 할렐루야!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 온 세상을 위해 죽으시도록 예수님을 보내주셔서, 그렇게 함으로써 그분의 대리 사역을 믿고, 그분의 주되심을 고백하는 모든 사람이 영원한 생명을 받는 것이 가능하게 해 주셔서 감사드립니다. 내 안에 있는 영원한 생명으로 인해 감사드립니다, 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

마가복음 16:15-16 그분께서 그들에게 이르시되, 너희는 온 세상에 가서 모든 창조물에게 복음을 선포하라. 믿고 침례를 받는 자는 구원을 받으려니와 믿지 않는 자는 정죄를 받으리라.
요한일서 5:13 내가 하나님의 아들의 이름을 믿는 너희에게 이것들을 쓴 것은 너희에게 영원한 생명이 있음을 너희가 알게 하고 또 하나님의 아들의 이름을 너희가 믿게 하려 함이라.

A MESSAGE FOR THE WHOLE WORLD
For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again (2 Corinthians 5:14-15).
Did you know that God isn’t counting the sins of men against them? He isn’t because Jesus already died for everybody. “I thought He died for Christians”; someone might ask. No; it was for the whole world! 2 Corinthians 5:19 NIV says, “that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.”
Observe that it says God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself. Why? It’s because Jesus paid for everybody. When Jesus died, every one of us died in Him; in the mind of justice, we were in Him in His death. When God raised Him up, the whole world was given the opportunity to receive eternal life—the life of righteousness.
That’s the reason our message is His Gospel to the whole world. Our mission is to tell the whole world that Jesus paid for their salvation; therefore they don’t have to die or be judged anymore. Jesus was judged for the whole world.
For everyone in the world today who hasn’t been born again, eternal life is available now. All they have to do is believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead in His substitutionary act of salvation, confess the Lordship of Jesus over their lives, and they’ll be brought into the vital realization, experience and union with the living Christ. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for sending Jesus to die for the whole world, thereby making it possible for everyone who believes in His substitutionary work, and confesses His Lordship, to receive eternal life. Thank you for eternal life in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
