진리 안에 확립되십시오
ESTABLISHED IN THE TRUTH
그러므로 내가 권면하노니 무엇보다 먼저 모든 사람을 위하여 간구와 기도와 중보와 감사를 드리되 왕들과 권위를 가진 모든 사람을 위하여 하라. 이것은 우리가 전적으로 하나님을 따르며 정직한 가운데 조용하고 평화로운 삶을 살고자 함이라. 이것은 하나님 곧 우리의 구원자의 눈앞에서 선하고 받으실 만한 것이니라. 그분은 모든 사람이 구원을 받고 진리를 아는 데 이르기를 원하시느니라 (디모데전서 2:1-4).
위의 성경기록에서 “지식”으로 번역된 헬라어는 “에피그노시스” 입니다. 그것은 완전한, 정확한 혹은 정밀한 지식을 뜻합니다. 하나님께서는 모든 사람들이 구원받고 진리의 완전한, 정확한 혹은 정밀한 지식에 이르기를 원하십니다. 만일 이것이 가능하지 않다면, 그분은 그렇게 말씀하지 않으셨을 것입니다. 이것은 그분의 열망입니다.

당신이 거울 앞에 설 때, 당신 자신을 바라보고 말하십시오, “나는 내가 누구인지 압니다, 내 안에 계신 분이 세상에 있는 자보다 더 크십니다. 나의 삶은 하나님의 영광을 위한 것입니다 왜냐하면 그리스도께서 내 안에 사시기 때문입니다.” 이러한 진리들 안에 확립되십시오. 할렐루야!

사랑하는 아버지, 추정들, 의심들과 불확실성과 전연 다른, 당신의 말씀의 절대적이고 정확한 지식을 나에게 허락해 주셔서 감사드립니다. 나는 내 모든 노력들에서 지혜와 지식의 영에 의해 기능하고, 모든 선한 일에서 열매를 잘 맺습니다. 그리스도께서 내 삶의 영광이십니다 그리고 그분의 영광으로 말미암아, 나는 날마다 승리하며 군림합니다, 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

ESTABLISHED IN THE TRUTH
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:1-4).
The Greek word translated “knowledge” in the scripture above is “epignosis.” It means full, exact or precise knowledge. God wants all men to be saved and to come to the full, exact or precise knowledge of the truth. If this weren’t possible, He wouldn’t have said so. This is His desire.
It’s also the reason He set ministers and ministries in place as gifts to the Church: “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:11-13).
God wants you built up and established in the Word until you come to such a high level of faith and knowledge of the Son of God—mature and fully grown in the Lord. As you develop in Christ and in the things of the Spirit, and as you increase in the revelation knowledge of the Word, you’re able to tame circumstances and live above the elements of this world.
When you have precise knowledge of the truth—the truth about Christ and what He’s done for you and in you—your life will be an endless stream of peace, joy and victories. Get to know the truth.
For example, Psalm 87:3 says, “Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God.” Then in Psalm 50:2, the Bible says, “Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.” Hallelujah! God shines through you, not cancer, diabetes, kidney failure, poverty or any of the negativities of this world. You’re the perfection of beauty.
When you stand in front of the mirror, look at yourself and say, “I know who I am; greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. My life is for the glory of God because Christ lives in me.” Be established in these truths. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for granting me absolute and exact knowledge of your Word, far removed from assumptions, doubts and uncertainties. I function by the Spirit of wisdom and knowledge in all my endeavours, fruitful in every good work. Christ is the glory of my life and by His grace, I reign triumphantly every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
