진리가 우리 안에 거합니다
THE TRUTH DWELLS IN US
우리 안에 거하며 영원토록 우리와 함께할 진리로 인함이로다 (요한이서 1:2).
요한은 대부분의 다른 사람들이 결코 행하지 않았던 방식으로 예수님을 발견했습니다. 그는 유일무이했던 하나님의 말씀에 관한 특별한 것을 보았습니다. 그만이 그의 복음서에서, “말씀이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하시매 (우리가 그분의 영광을 보니 아버지의 독생하신 분의 영광이요) 은혜와 진리가 충만하더라” (요한복음 1:14) 고 우리와 나눕니다.
요한은 그것을 이해했습니다 왜냐하면 그는 예수님께서 그들을 가르치시며, “...내가 곧 길이요 진리요 생명이니 나를 통하지 않고는 아버지께 오지 못하느니라” (요한복음 14:6) 고 말씀하셨을 때 그곳에 있었기 때문입니다. 그는 예수님께서, “내가 진리요” 라고 말씀하시는 것을 들었습니다. 그래서, 예수님께서, 아버지를 향한 그분의 기도에서, “...아버지의 말씀은 진리이니이다” (요한복음 17:17) 라고 말씀드리셨을 때, 요한은 그것을 함께 볼 수 있었습니다. 말씀은 진리입니다, 그리고 진리가 육신이 되었습니다.
예수님께서는 사람 이상이셨고, 대언자 이상이셨고, 랍비 이상이셨습니다, 그분은 하나님의 진리―육신 안에 계신 하나님―이셨습니다. 진리가 무엇입니까? 진리는 실재―절대적인 실재―입니다. 다른 모든 것은 사라집니다, 그러나 하나님의 진리가 우리 안에 거합니다, 그리고 영원히 우리와 함께할 것입니다 (요한이서 1:2).
일단 이 진리가 당신의 심령에 자리 잡으면, 당신은 당신이 가질 수 없는 어떤 것도 그리고 당신이 할 수 없는 어떤 것도 없음을 깨달을 것입니다, 왜냐하면 진리가 당신 안에 거하기 때문입니다, 그리고 이 진리―진리의 말씀―는, 당신을 포함하여, 모든 것을 창조했습니다, “그분께서 자신의 뜻에 따라 진리의 말씀으로 우리를 낳으셨으니 이것은 우리가 그분의 창조물 중의 첫 열매 종류가 되게 하려 하심이라” (야고보서 1:18). 하나님께 영광 돌립니다!

사랑하는 아버지, 당신의 말씀으로 인해 감사드립니다. 당신의 말씀은 진리입니다, 그리고 나는 진리 가운데 걷습니다, 왜냐하면 나는 진리와 하나이기 때문입니다. 당신의 말씀이 그리스도 안에서 나의 형통, 신성한 건강, 승리, 통치와 영광스러운 삶을 확실케 합니다. 내가 당신의 진리 가운데 걷고, 의 안에 세워질 때 나는 영광에서 영광으로 전진합니다, 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE TRUTH DWELLS IN US
For the truth’s sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever (2 John 1:2).
John discovered Jesus in a way that most others never did. He saw something about the Word of God that was unique. He alone shares with us in his gospel writing, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John 1:14).
John understood it because he was there when Jesus taught them and said, “...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). He heard Jesus say, “I am the truth.” And so, when Jesus, in His prayer to the Father, said, “...thy word is truth” (John 17:17), John was able to put it together: The Word is Truth, and the Truth became flesh.
Jesus was more than a man, more than a prophet, and more than a Rabbi; He was God’s Truth―God in flesh. What is truth? Truth is reality―absolute reality. Everything else fade away, but the Truth of God dwells in us, and shall be with us forever (2 John 1:2).
Once this reality settles in your heart, you’ll realize there’s nothing you can’t have and nothing you can’t do, because the Truth dwells in you, and this Truth―the Word of Truth―created everything, including you: “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creature” (James 1:18). Glory to God!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for your Word. Your Word is Truth, and I walk in truth, because I’m one with the Truth. Your Word confirms my prosperity, divine health, victory, dominion and glorious life in Christ. I make progress from glory to glory as I walk in your truth, established in righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
