그분의 왕국의 상속자들
HEIRS OF HIS KINGDOM
...예수님께서 갈릴리에 오셔서 하나님의 왕국의 복음을 선포하여 이르시되, 때가 찼고 하나님의 왕국이 가까이 왔으니... (마가복음 1:14-15).
주 예수님께서는 유대인들을 왕국으로 이끄셨고 그들에게 왕국을 제안하셨습니다, 그분은 그들에게, “하나님의 왕국이 가까이 왔느니라” (마태복음 3:2, 마태복음 4:17, 마가복음 1:14-15, 누가복음 10:9) 고 말씀하시며 전하셨습니다.
하지만, 그들은 그분의 메시지를 거절했고 왕국에 대한 그분의 제안을 거부했습니다. 결과적으로, 그분은 그들에게 선언하셨습니다, “그러므로 내가 너희에게 말하노니 하나님의 왕국이 너희로부터 빼앗겨 그것의 열매를 맺을 사람들에게 주어지리라” (마태복음 21:43 새 국제 역본 NIV).
왕국이 제안되었고, 그것의 메시지를 받아들인 모든 사람들이 영원한 생명을 받았습니다. 그리스도인들은 왕국의 메시지를 받아들인, 그들의 영으로 영원한 생명을 받아들인, 그리고 이제 구성원들—그 왕국의 시민들이자 상속자들—인 사람들입니다.
성경이 로마서 8:16-17 (새 킹 제임스 역본 NKJV)에서, “성령께서 친히 우리의 영과 더불어 우리가 하나님의 자녀들인 것을 증언하시나니, 자녀들이면, 상속자들 곧 하나님의 상속자들이요 그리스도와 함께하는 공동 상속자들이니라, 만일 진실로 우리가 그분과 함께 고난당하면, 이것은 우리가 또한 함께 영광 받게 하려 함이니라” 고 말씀하는 것은 놀라운 일이 아닙니다.
사악함과 악함으로 가득한 세상에서 사는 것에도 불구하고, 그분은 그분의 왕국의 상속자가 되는 이 특출한 특권을 우리에게 허락하셨습니다. 우리는 이 세상에 속하지 않습니다. 우리는 사탄의 영역에 속하지 않습니다, 우리는 사탄의 관할권 혹은 권위 아래에 있지 않습니다.
성경은 골로새서 1:13에서 하나님께서 어두움의 권능에서 우리를 구출하셔서 그분의 사랑하시는 아들의 왕국 안으로 우리를 옮기셨다고 말씀합니다. 하나님을 송축합니다! 또한, 그분은 왕국의 열매들—의와 영원한 생명의 열매들—을 생산하라고 그분의 영광스러운 왕국에서 우리를 왕들과 제사장들로 삼으셨습니다.
우리는 베드로가, “그러나 너희는 선정된 세대요 왕가의 제사장이요 거룩한 민족이요 특별한 백성이니 이것은 너희를 어둠에서 불러내어 자신의 놀라운 빛으로 들어가게 하신 분께 대한 찬양을 너희가 전하게 하려 하심이라” (베드로전서 2:9) 고 말씀했을 때 그가 언급했던 자들입니다. 할렐루야!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 나를 당신의 영광스러운 왕국의 상속자로 삼아주셔서 감사드립니다. 나는 내가 영원한 생명을 가졌음을 그리고 이 왕국의 시민이자 구성원이 되었음을 인정합니다, 그러므로, 나는 이 현 세상의 타락들, 부패 그리고 쇠퇴와 멀리 있습니다. 나는, 정사들과 권능들보다 훨씬 위에, 당신과 함께 왕좌에 앉았습니다, 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

에베소서 1:18-21 너희의 지각의 눈을 밝히사 그분의 부르심의 소망이 무엇이며 성도들 안에 있는 그분의 상속 유업의 영광이 얼마나 풍성하며 그분의 강력한 권능의 활동에 따라 믿는 우리에게 베푸신바 그분의 지극히 큰 권능이 어떤 것인지 너희가 알게 하시기를 구하노라. 그분께서 그리스도를 죽은 자들로부터 살리시고 하늘의 처소들에서 자신의 오른편에 앉히실 때에 그 권능을 그분 안에서 발휘하사 그분을 모든 정사와 권능과 강력과 통치와 이 세상뿐만 아니라 오는 세상에서 불리는 모든 이름보다 훨씬 위에 두셨고

HEIRS OF HIS KINGDOM
…Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand… (Mark 1:14-15).
The Lord Jesus brought and offered the Kingdom to the Jews; He preached to them saying, “The kingdom of God is at hand” (Matthew 3:2; Matthew 4:17; Mark 1:14-15; Luke 10:9).
However, they rejected His message and turned down His offer of the Kingdom. As a result, He declared to them, "Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit” (Matthew 21:43 NIV).
The Kingdom was offered, and all those who accepted its message received eternal life. Christians are those who have accepted the message of the Kingdom, received eternal life into their spirits, and are now members— citizens and heirs of that Kingdom.
No wonder the Bible tells us in Romans 8:16-17 (NKJV), "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”
Despite living in a world filled with wickedness and evil, He has granted us this extraordinary privilege to be heirs of His Kingdom. We’re not of this world. We don't belong in Satan’s realm; we’re not under Satan’s jurisdiction or authority.
The Bible says in Colossians 1:13 that God has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the Kingdom of His Love-son. Blessed be God! Also, He’s made us kings and priests in His glorious Kingdom to produce fruits of the Kingdom—fruits of righteousness and eternal life.
We’re the ones Peter referred to when he said, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” (1 Peter 2:9). Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for making me an heir of your glorious Kingdom. I recognize that I have received eternal life and have become a citizen and member of this Kingdom; therefore, I’m alienated from the depravities, corruption and decadence in this present world. I’m enthroned with you, far above principalities and powers, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
