그들을 끊어내십시오!
CUT THEM OFF!
“사탄아, 여기서 물러가라,” 고 예수님께서 그에게 말씀하셨느니라. “성경 기록들이, ‘너는 주 너의 하나님을 섬겨야 할지니라, 오직 그분을 섬기라’ 고 말씀하기 때문이라” (마태복음 4:10 새 리빙 역본 NLT).
주 예수님께서 성경 시대에 여러 사람들에게 사역하셨을 때, 그분은 많은 악한 영들을 내쫓으셨고, 사람들이 시달리고 있는 대부분의 고통들에 대한 책임이 악한 영들에게 있다는 것을 우리에게 보여주셨습니다. 그리고 마가복음 16:17에서 그분은 믿는 자들을 확인하는 몇 가지 표적들을 나열하셨습니다, 그리고 표적들 중 바로 그 첫 번째는 그들이 악한 영들을 내쫓으리라는 것입니다.
그러나 그분이 광야에서 40일을 계시는 동안, 그분은 사탄과 악한 영들을 다루는 방식에 대한 통찰력을 우리에게 주셨습니다. 사탄은 그분을 유혹하기에 이르렀습니다, 그리고 첫 번째 유혹은 예수님께 돌들로 빵이 되라고 명령하시라는 것이었습니다. 응답하시며, 예수님께서는, 신명기를 인용하시면서, “...기록된바, 사람이 빵으로만 살 것이 아니요, 하나님의 입에서 나오는 모든 말씀으로 살 것이라, 하였느니라, 하시더라” (마태복음 4:4) 고 말씀하셨습니다.

다음으로 마지막 유혹이 옵니다. 높은 산에서, 사탄은 그분에게 바로 모든 왕국들을 보여드리며, 만약 그분이 사탄에게 절하고 경배하시겠다면, 예수님께 그것들을 드리겠다고 했습니다. 예수님께서 말씀하셨습니다, “사탄아, 여기서 물러가라!” “여기서 물러가라” 에 대한 히브리 원어는 “침몰하여 사라지라,” 혹은 “없어져라” 를 뜻합니다. 그것이 마귀를 내쫓는 것입니다!
그러한 세 번의 유혹들에서, 예수님께서는 “기록된바...” 라고 사탄에게 일관되게 강조하셨습니다, 그리고 분명하게 그것을 확고히 하신 후에, 그분은 말씀하셨습니다, “여기서 물러가라!” 그것이 바로 사탄을 다루는 방식입니다, 당신은 당신의 가정, 당신의 몸, 당신의 도시, 나라 등으로부터 그를 내쫓거나 그를 끊어내는 것입니다.

CUT THEM OFF!
“Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him (Matthew 4:10 NLT).
When the Lord Jesus ministered to different people in Bible days, He cast out a lot of demons, showing us that demons are responsible for most of the afflictions that people suffer with. And in Mark 16:17 He listed several signs to identify those who believe, and the very first of the signs is that they shall cast out demons.
But during His forty days in the wilderness, He gave us an insight into how to deal with Satan and demons. Satan had come to tempt Him, and the first temptation was for Jesus to command stones to be made bread. In response, Jesus, quoting from the Book of Deuteronomy, said, “...It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).
For the second time, the Bible says, “Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, and saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down…” (Matthew 4:5-6). Again, Jesus responded and said, “...It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God” (Matthew 4:7).
Then came the last temptation. At a high mountain, Satan showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment, offering them to Jesus, if He would bow down and worship him. Jesus said, “Get out of here, Satan!” The original word in Hebrew for “Get out of here” signifies “sink out,” or “disappear.” That’s casting out the devil!
In those three temptations, Jesus was consistent in emphasizing to Satan, “It is written…,” and after establishing that clearly, He said, “Get out of here!” That’s how to deal with Satan; you cast him out or cut him off from your home, your body, your city, nation, etc.
If it’s your child, and he or she is within the age where you’re still in control of what they do, you say, “Devil, this is my child; take your hands off my child; get out of here!” He’s got to obey, because you're exercising your authority in Christ. You have the legal right, the power of attorney to use the Name of Jesus and subdue Satan and his demons. Cut them off! Praise God!
PRAYER
Satan has no right to run things in my life, in my home or the lives of my loved ones; by my authority in Christ, I exercise dominion over him and his demons. I walk in power and in the glory of the Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
