우리 안에 있는 영광
THE GLORY IN US
하나님께서는 이방인들 가운데서 이 신비의 영광의 풍성함이 무엇인지 자신의 성도들에게 알리려 하시는데 이 신비는 너희 안에 계신 그리스도 곧 영광의 소망이시니라 (골로새서 1:27).
위 구절에 있는 강력한 의미에 주목하십시오, 그것은 말씀합니다, “너희 안에 계신 그리스도, 곧 영광의 소망이시니라.” 그것은, “너희와 함께하시는 그리스도” 혹은 “하늘로부터 오신 그리스도” 라고 말씀하지 않습니다, 그보다, 그것은, “너희 안에 계신 그리스도” 라고 말씀합니다. 이것은 신비—성경 기록들 곳곳에서 일관된 계시—입니다.

사랑하는 아버지, 나의 심령의 본부에 있는 당신의 경이로운 임재로 인해 감사드립니다. 내 안에 계신 그리스도께서, 영광의 소망이십니다! 나는 모든 환경들 위에서 군림하고 다스리도록 그리스도 안에서 은혜와 능력을 허락 받았습니다. 나는 나를 강하게 하시는 그리스도를 통해 모든 것들을 할 수 있습니다. 내 안에 계신 그리스도께서 지속적인 승리와 끝없는 성공의 삶에 대한 나의 보증이십니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!

고린도후서 3:7-18 그러나 돌에 써서 새긴 사망의 직무에도 영광이 있어서 이스라엘 자손들이 모세의 얼굴의 영광 곧 없어질 영광으로 인해 그의 얼굴을 똑바로 쳐다보지 못하였거든 하물며 영의 직무에는 더욱 영광이 있지 아니하겠느냐? 정죄의 직무도 영광이 될진대 의의 직무는 영광이 더욱 뛰어나리라. 영광스럽게 된 것조차도 이 점에서 영광을 갖지 못한 것은 뛰어난 그 영광으로 인함이라. 없어진 것에도 영광이 있었을진대 남아 있는 것에는 더욱 영광이 있느니라. 그런즉 우리에게 이 같은 소망이 있으므로 우리는 매우 분명한 말을 사용하고 이스라엘 자손들이 이미 사라진 것의 마지막을 똑바로 보지 못하게 하려고 모세가 자기 얼굴을 베일로 가린 것 같이 하지 아니하노라. 그러나 그들의 마음이 가려졌으니 이는 이 날까지도 옛 상속 언약의 말씀을 읽을 때에 바로 그 베일이 벗겨지지 아니한 채 남아 있기 때문이라. 그 베일은 그리스도 안에서 없어졌으나 이 날까지도 모세의 글을 읽을 때에 그 베일이 그들의 마음을 덮고 있도다. 그럼에도 불구하고 그들의 마음이 주께로 돌아서면 그 베일이 벗겨지리라. 이제 주께서는 그 영이시니 주의 영이 계신 곳에는, 거기에는 자유가 있느니라. 그러나 우리는 다 가리지 않은 얼굴로 거울을 보는 것 같이 주의 영광을 바라보며 같은 형상으로 변화되어 영광에서 영광에 이르렀나니 이것은 곧 주의 영으로 말미암은 것이니라.
골로새서 1:26-27 이것은 곧 여러 시대와 여러 세대로부터 감추어졌으나 이제는 그분의 성도들에게 드러난 신비에 관한 것이라. 하나님께서는 이방인들 가운데서 이 신비의 영광의 풍성함이 무엇인지 자신의 성도들에게 알리려 하시는데 이 신비는 너희 안에 계신 그리스도 곧 영광의 소망이시니라.

THE GLORY IN US
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).
Observe the powerful construction in the verse above; it says, “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” It doesn’t say, “Christ with you” or “Christ from Heaven"; rather, it says, "Christ in you.” This is the mystery—a revelation that remains consistent throughout Scriptures.
In the book of Genesis, we read of God’s voice walking in the garden in the cool of the day, as Adam and Eve heard His voice (Genesis 3:8). At various times, God appeared to individuals like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Whenever He revealed Himself, they built altars as symbols of the places where they met with Him.
However, such encounters were occasional; they were not in constant fellowship with Him. But God had a new plan. He revealed Himself to Moses and introduced His Name as Jehovah—the Lord in the camp—God among His people. He instructed Moses to build a tent, where He would meet with them. The glory of the Lord entered the Tabernacle, and Moses communed with God there.
As they journeyed, the tabernacle was carried with them, symbolizing the presence of the Lord. Later, David desired to build a permanent house for God, but God gave the plans to Solomon, David's son. Solomon constructed the magnificent temple, and when it was completed, God filled it with His glory (2 Chronicles 7:1-3).
But thanks be unto God; today, a greater glory than what was manifested in the temple of Solomon, a greater glory than the one Moses saw on the mountain in the presence of God resides in us. Hallelujah! The Holy Spirit who manifested as the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night, now dwells within us. O, how glorious we have become!
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for your amazing presence in the quarters of my heart. Christ in me, the hope of glory! I’ve been granted the grace and ability in Christ to reign and rule over all circumstances. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Christ in me is my assurance of a life of continuous victory and unending success. Blessed be God!
