그분이 우리에게 주신 생명
THE LIFE HE’S GIVEN US
도둑은 오직 훔치고 죽이고 멸망시키려고 오느니라. 나는 그들이 생명을 갖고 누리도록, 그리고 생명을 풍성하게 (충만하게, 그것이 넘쳐 흐를 때까지) 가지라고 왔느니라 (요한복음 10:10 확대 역본 AMPC).
많은 사람들이 예수님께서 오셨던 이유를 알지 못 합니다. 그분이 한 민족으로서 이스라엘을 위해 오셔서 행하셨던 것과 그분이 온 세상을 위해 오셔서 행하셨던 것 사이에는 차이가 있습니다. 온 세상을 위해, 그분은 충만하기까지 생명을 주시려고 오셨습니다.
당신은 오직 당신이 가진 것을 줄 수 있습니다, 그리고 예수님께서는 단지 생명을 가지신 것이 아니었습니다, 그분은 인격화된 생명—생명의 구현—이셨습니다 (요한일서 1:2). 성경은, “아버지께서 자기 속에 생명이 있는 것 같이 아들에게도 주사 그 속에 생명이 있게 하셨고” (요한복음 5:26) 라고 말씀합니다. 그것이 그분이 충만하기까지 우리에게 생명을 주실 수 있었던 이유입니다. 그분은 생명을 주는 자이십니다, “...기록된바, 첫 사람 아담은 살아 있는 혼이 되었느니라. 마지막 아담은 생명을 주는 영이 되셨느니라” (고린도전서 15:45 미국 표준 역본 ASV).
그분이 우리에게 주신 이 생명에 관한 특별한 것이 있습니다. 바울은 로마서 8:2에서 좀 더 그것을 이해하도록 우리를 돕습니다. 그 구절은 말씀합니다, “이는 그리스도 예수님 안에 있는 생명의 성령의 법이 죄와 사망의 법에서 나를 해방시켰기 때문이라.” 바울은 그리스도 예수님 안에 있는 생명의 성령의 법이 우리를 죽음에서 “면하게” 한 것이 아니라 그것은 우리를 죽음에서 자유롭게 만들었다고 말씀하고 있었습니다.
당신은 죽음에 의해 건드려질 수 없습니다. 당신은 죽음의 영역에서 생명의 영역으로 옮겨졌습니다.
고백
나는 신성한 본성에 참여하는 자이고, 하나님의 “최대치의 분량”으로 채워졌습니다. 나는 날마다 신성한 건강, 형통과 승리 가운데 걷습니다. 나는 하나님의 은혜, 선하심과 사랑의 살아 있는 증거입니다. 나는, 내가 정복자보다 더 나은 자이며 모든 상황에서 승리함을 알기 때문에, 그리스도 안에서 나의 새로운 생명에 관한 의식 가운데 걷습니다. 아버지, 당신께서 그리스도 안에서 나에게 주신 영광스러운 생명으로 인해, 감사드립니다, 예수님 이름으로 고백합니다. 아멘.

요한일서 5:11-12 또 그 증언은 이것이니 곧 하나님께서 우리에게 영원한 생명을 주신 것과 이 생명이 그분의 아들 안에 있다는 것이니라. 아들이 있는 자에게는 생명이 있고 하나님의 아들이 없는 자에게는 생명이 없느니라.

THE LIFE HE’S GIVEN US
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows) (John 10:10 AMPC).
Many don’t know why Jesus came. There’s a difference between what He came to do for Israel as a nation and what He came to do for the whole world. For the whole world, He came to give life to the full.
You can only give what you have, and Jesus didn’t just have life, He was life personified—the embodiment of life (1 John 1:2). The Bible says, “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself” (John 5:26). It’s the reason He could give us life to the full. He’s the life-giver: “…it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit” (1 Corinthians 15:45 ASV).
There’s something about this life that He’s given us. Paul helps us understand it some more in Romans 8:2. It says, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Paul wasn’t saying the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has “freed” us from death but that it’s made us death-free.
You’re untouchable by death. You’ve been translated from the realm of death into the realm of life.
CONFESSION
I’m a partaker of the divine nature, filled with the “maximum load” of God. I walk in divine health, prosperity and victory every day. I am a living testimony of God’s grace, goodness and love. I walk in the consciousness of my new life in Christ, knowing that I am more than a conqueror and victorious in every situation. Thank you, Father, for the glorious life you've given me in Christ, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
