행함으로의 요구
A CALL TO ACTION
네가 만일 네 입으로 주 예수님을 시인하고 하나님께서 그분을 죽은 자들로부터 살리신 것을 네 마음속으로 믿으면 구원을 받으리니 (로마서 10:9).
우리가 죄인들에게 구원의 메시지를 전할 때, 우리는 그들의 믿음을 행하고 구원을 받아들일 기회를 반드시 주어야 합니다. 행함으로의 요구가 반드시 있어야 합니다. 만약 우리가 메시지에 관한 그들의 믿음을 행할 기회를 그들에게 주지 않는다면, 그들의 심령에 뿌려진 씨는 잃어버리게 될 수 있습니다, 사탄이 그들의 심령으로부터 그것을 훔칠 수 있습니다 (마태복음 13:18-19).
하나님의 말씀의 씨가 누군가의 심령에 뿌리를 내렸다는 증거는 그들의 믿음의 반응과 행위입니다. 어떤 사람이 믿음으로 반응하기까지, 그것은 그들이 진정으로 말씀을 듣지 않았다고 말해질 수 있습니다. 말씀이 진정으로 들려질 때, 그것은 그 개인 안에 믿음을 생산합니다.
믿음은 들음에서 옵니다 (로마서 10:17), 그리고 믿음은 하나님의 말씀에 대한 사람의 영의 반응입니다. 그래서 반응은 아주 중요합니다. 우리가 아픈 사람들에게 사역할 때도 마찬가지입니다. 예로써 바울이 루스드라에서 행한 것을 보십시오.
태어날 때부터 불구였던 한 사람이 바울의 가르침들을 열중해서 듣고 있었습니다. 성경은 바울이 치유 받을 만한 믿음이 그에게 있음을 알았다고 말씀합니다. 그는 그에게 눈을 고정시키고 그런 후에 명령했습니다, “일어나 네 발로 서라!” 그 사람이 벌떡 일어나 걸었습니다, 영광스럽게 치유 받았습니다!
사람들에게 사역함에 있어, 그것이 죄인, 아픈 사람, 억눌린 사람이나 우울한 사람이라면, 우리는 반드시 그들의 믿음이 활성화될 명확한 지시들을 제공해야 합니다. 단지 말씀을 전하고 다음에 무엇을 할지 궁금해하는 그들을 내버려두지 마십시오, 그들을 공부시키고 그들이 받은 말씀들에 대한 그들의 믿음을 행하게 하십시오.
바로 지금, 이것을 읽는 동안, 만약 당신이 결코 거듭난 적이 없다면, 76쪽의 “구원 기도”를 펴십시오, 당신의 온 심령으로 진심을 담아, 그 기도를 기도하십시오 그러면 즉시, 당신은 구원받을 것이고, 하나님의 왕국 안으로 옮겨질 것입니다. 할렐루야!

A CALL TO ACTION
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9).
When we preach the message of salvation to sinners, we must give them the opportunity to act their faith and receive salvation. There must be a call to action. If we don't give them an opportunity to act their faith on the message, the seed sown in their hearts could be lost; Satan could steal it from their hearts (Matthew 13:18-19).
The proof that the seed of God's Word has taken root in someone’s heart is their response and action of faith. Until a person responds in faith, it can be said that they have not truly heard the Word. When the Word is truly heard, it produces faith within the individual.
Faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17); and faith is the response of the human spirit to the Word of God. So the response is so important. It’s the same when we minister to the sick. Take what Paul did in Lystra as an example.
A man who had been crippled since birth listened intently to Paul's teachings. The Bible says Paul perceived that the man had faith to be healed. He locked eyes with him and then commanded, "Stand up on your feet!" The man jumped to his feet and walked, gloriously healed!
In ministering to people, be it the sinner, the sick, the oppressed or the depressed, we must provide clear instructions for their faith to be activated. Don’t just preach the Word and leave them wondering what to do next; put them through and let them act their faith on the words they’ve received.
Even now, while reading this, if you’ve never been born again, turn to the “Prayer of Salvation” on page 76; pray that prayer, mean it with all your heart and immediately, you’ll be saved, translated into the Kingdom of God. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, your Word is life to me, and as I hear and receive your Word, I’m compelled to respond, because I’m a doer of the Word. My faith prevails as I walk in the consciousness of all that the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ consummated for me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
