말씀에 대한 당신의 개인적인 공부
YOUR PERSONAL STUDY OF THE WORD
너는 이 율법 책을 네 입에서 떠나지 말게 하며 밤낮으로 그것을 묵상하여 그 안에 기록된 모든 것에 따라 지켜 행하라. 그리하면 네가 네 길을 형통하게 하며 또한 크게 성공하리라 (여호수아 1:8).
하나님의 말씀은 당신이 그것의 신성한 계시들을 접할 때 당신을 영광의 한 단계에서 또 다른 단계로 데려갑니다. 하나님의 말씀 안에 있는 진리가 당신의 영에 분명해질 때—당신이 그것을 알고 하나님께서 말씀하셨던 것에 관하여 그분에게 동의할 때— 그것이 당신 안에서 역사합니다. 그러나 만일 당신이 그분이 말씀하셨던 것에 관하여 알지 못 한다면 어떻게 당신이 그분에게 동의할 수 있을까요?
그것이 바로 당신이 공부를 향한 왕성한 식욕을 가져야 할 필요가 있는 이유입니다, 말씀을 아십시오, 특별히 이 구속의 해에, 그 지점에서 당신은 그것들의 실제 가치로 “당신의 상품권들을 현금화” 하고 있는 것입니다. 기억하십시오, 그 상품권들은 하나님의 진리, 당신에 관한 그분의 말씀입니다, 그것은 당신이 믿음을 통해 선언해야만 합니다.

주님의 권고는 그들이 그분의 말씀에 계속 머무르는 것이었음에 주목하십시오. 그것은 하나님의 말씀의 지식을 향한 만족할 줄 모르는 식욕을 갖는 것을 뜻합니다. 말씀을 통해, 우리는 우리의 마음을 새롭게 하고 믿음과 성품을 세웁니다.
사도 바울이 말씀했습니다, “네 자신을 하나님께 승인 받은 (시험을 통해 검증된), 부끄러울 이유가 없는, 진리의 말씀을 정확하게 분석하고 정밀하게 나누는 [올바르게 다루고 능숙하게 가르치는] 일꾼으로 제시하고자, 공부하고 열망하고 네 최선을 다하라” (디모데후서 2:15 확대 역본 AMPC).
주 예수님께서 요한복음 5:39에서 말씀하셨습니다, “성경 기록들을 탐구하라....” 하나님의 말씀은 우리를 위해 표현된 하나님의 마음—기록되고 표현된 그분의 뜻입니다. 당신 스스로 하나님의 말씀을 공부하십시오, 그것을 이해하십시오, 그것을 말하십시오, 그리고 그에 따라 사십시오.

사랑하는 아버지, 그리스도인의 나의 행보에 있어 중요한 요소인, 당신의 말씀에 대한 개인적인 공부의 중요성을 나에게 보여주셔서 감사드립니다. 내가 오늘 말씀을 공부하고 묵상함에 따라, 나는 나의 삶을 향한 당신의 열망과 계획을 성취하도록 배치됩니다, 그리고 나의 유익은 명백합니다, 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

YOUR PERSONAL STUDY OF THE WORD
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8).
The Word of God takes you from one level of glory to another as you open up to its divine revelations. It works in you when the truth therein dawns on your spirit—when you know it and agree with God about what He said. But how can you agree with Him if you don't know what He said?
That’s why you need to have a voracious appetite for study; get to know the Word, especially in this Year of Redemption, where you’re “cashing out your vouchers” for their actual value. Remember, those vouchers are God’s truths, His Word concerning you, which you have to proclaim by faith.
The Bible says, “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious” (1 Peter 2:2-3). Read what the Lord Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in Him, “…If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31-32).
Notice that the Master’s admonition was for them to continue in His Word. That means having an insatiable appetite for the knowledge of God’s Word. Through the Word, we renew our minds and build faith and character.
The Apostle Paul said, “Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth” (2 Timothy 2:15 AMPC).
The Lord Jesus said in John 5:39, “Search the scriptures….” The Word of God is the mind of God expressed—His will written and expressed for us. Study the Word of God for yourself; understand it, speak it, and live accordingly.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for showing me the importance of the personal study of your Word, a vital ingredient in my Christian walk. As I study and meditate on the Word today, I'm positioned to fulfil your desire and plan for my life, and my profiting is evident, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
