승리를 거둔 삶을 전하십시오
PREACH THE TRIUMPHANT LIFE
항상 우리를 그리스도 안에서 승리하게 하시고 우리를 통해 모든 곳에서 그분을 아는 냄새를 풍기게 하시는 하나님께 이제 감사하노라 (고린도후서 2:14).
당신이 승리를 거둔 삶—그리스도 안에 있는 구원이 우리에게 가져온 형통, 건강, 안녕과 온전함—에 관하여 가르칠 때 어떤 사람들은 그것이 참이라고 하기에 너무 좋다고 생각합니다. 그들은, “자, 크리스 목사님께서 방금 그들에게 좋은 삶을 약속하시며, 그들에게 어떤 어려움도, 어떤 핍박도, 그리고 어떤 문제도 없다고 말씀하시려고 노력하고 계십니다” 라고 말합니다.
주님께서 우리에게 승리하는 삶을 이미 주셨는데 왜 내가 우울한 삶을 선언해야 합니까? 우리가 심각한 핍박들을 겪고 있다 할지라도, 그분은 우리에게, “...그것을 다 기쁨으로 여기...” (야고보서 1:2) 라고 말씀합니다. 왜일까요? 그것은 어떤 것도 그리고 누구도, 하늘에 있든지, 땅이나 땅 아래 있든지, 우리에게 불리하게 작용할 수 없기 때문입니다.
이것이 우리의 삶에 있는 하나님의 은혜와 영광에 대한 우리의 찬양과 감사를 계속해서 기쁘고 변함없게 합니다. 욥에 대하여 생각해 보십시오, 예를 들어, 그의 삶에서 극도의 괴로움과 고통의 비참한 시기 동안, 그는, “그분께서 나를 죽이실지라도 나는 그분을 신뢰할 것이요...” (욥기 13:15) 라고 말씀했습니다.
이사야 43:2은, “네가 물 가운데로 지나갈 때에...강들이 네 위로 넘쳐흐르지 못하며 네가 불 속을 걸어갈 때에 타지도 아니하고 불꽃이 너를 사르지도 못하리니” 라고 말씀합니다. 주님께서는 우리가 도전들을 마주하지 않을 것이라고 결코 약속하지 않으셨습니다, 그러나 그분은 우리의 승리들이 필연적일 것이라고 보증하셨습니다.
고린도전서 15:57은 말씀합니다, “그러나 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 우리에게 승리를 주시는 하나님께 감사하노라.” 그것은 우리가 우리의 시작하는 구절에서 읽은 것과 유사합니다. 우리는 항상, 모든 곳에서 또 모든 것들에서, 승리합니다.
우리 주 예수님께서 땅을 거니셨을 때 그분에 관하여 공부하십시오, 그분은 모든 것들에서 승리하셨습니다. 그분은 절대적인 영광과 지배 안에 사셨고 그분의 제자들에게 동일한 사고방식을 주셨습니다. 언젠가, 그분이 그들에게 말씀하셨습니다, “...세상에서는 너희가 환난을 당할 터이나 기운을 내라. 내가 세상을 이기었노라, 하시니라” (요한복음 16:33).
누가복음 10:19에서, 그분이 말씀하셨습니다, “보라, 내가 너희에게 뱀과 전갈을 밟으며 원수의 모든 능력을 제압할 권능을 주노니 어떤 방법으로도 너희를 해칠 것이 전혀 없으리라.” 할렐루야! 우리가 그리스도 안에서 가진 것은 초월적인 생명입니다. 그것이 바로 우리가 믿는 것입니다, 그것이 바로 우리가 사는 것입니다, 그리고 그것이 바로 그분이 전하고 가르치라고 우리를 보내신 것입니다.

은혜로우신 아버지, 당신께서 나를 불러들이신 그 승리하는, 영광스러운, 그리고 참으로 아름다운 삶, 아픔, 질병, 가난, 실패와 죽음 위에서 승리를 거둔 삶으로 인해 감사드립니다. 나는 오늘 이 부르심에 합당하게 걸으며, 내 안에서 역사하는 당신의 신성한 능력의 유익을 전적으로 취합니다, 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

PREACH THE TRIUMPHANT LIFE
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place (2 Corinthians 2:14).
When we teach about the triumphant life—the prosperity, health, wellness and wholeness that salvation in Christ brought to us—some people think it’s too good to be true. They say, "Well, Pastor Chris just promises them a good life, trying to tell them there’s no hardship, no persecution, and no problem."
Why should I proclaim the gloom life when the Lord already gave us the victorious life? Even when we go through severe persecutions, He tells us to, “...count it all joy...” (James 1:2). Why? It’s because nothing and no one, whether in heaven, on earth or under the earth, can work to our disadvantage.
This keeps us joyful and consistent in our praise and appreciation of God’s grace and glory in our lives. Think about Job, for example, during a distressing period of agony and affliction in his life, he said, “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him…” (Job 13:15).
Isaiah 43:2 says, “When thou passest through the waters…they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” The Lord never promised that we wouldn't face challenges, but He assured us that our victories would be inevitable.
1 Corinthians 15:57 says, “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” It parallels what we read in our opening verse. We’re victorious ALWAYS, in every place and in all things.
Study about our Lord Jesus when He walked the earth; He was victorious in all things. He lived in absolute glory and dominion and passed the same mentality to His disciples. Once, He said to them, “…in the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
In Luke 10:19, He said, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Hallelujah! What we have in Christ is the transcendent life. That’s what we believe; that’s what we live, and that’s what He sent us to preach and teach.
PRAYER
Gracious Father, I thank you for the victorious, glorious and magnificent life you’ve called me into, a triumphant life above sickness, disease, poverty, failure and death. I walk worthy of this calling today, fully taking advantage of your divine power at work in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
